The SLI Gourd is the first introductory vessel shipped out by the Salami Lid Exploration and Science Initiative. Designed to be an all in one haven for the S.L.E.S.I. Corporation's more volatile research projects. It features a bar and a kitchen for extended leave from stations, a jazz lounge for crew R&R, a salvage bay for maintaining ship resources, a state of the art research and development wing, and a well tested blast chamber insulated by space for maximum explosion resistance. All of this powered by a twin core Antimatter Engine capable of pumping out 160kW with space to expand if needed.
